Hi, I’m Marcy Richardson, founder of Memories Archive.

I’ve always had a passion for photography and sharing meaningful moments with family and friends. It all started with scrapbooking—when my first son was born, I began creating albums filled with printed photos. By the time my second son turned two, I had transitioned to digital photo books. I kept documenting our milestones until both boys reached middle school.

In 2016, Hurricane Matthew swept through Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry. So many families lost treasured memories due to flooding and damage. That heartbreaking time lit a fire in me—I knew it was time to turn my hobby into a business with purpose.

Preserving legacies is at the heart of what I do.
Through photo scanning, restoration, and video conversion, I help families protect their stories and give new life to old memories. Together, we organize and transform your collection so it can be shared, celebrated, and cherished for generations.
